Dr. Robert Krasny

Dr. Robert Mark Krasny was recruited from Tower Imaging Medical Group in Los Angeles in November, 2004. Dr. Krasny attended a six year medical program at Boston University, and diagnostic radiology residency training at UC Davis Medical Center, including chief resident responsibilities. He then attended UCLA for fellowship training in cross sectional imaging, with special emphasis on gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and non-vascular interventional procedures. Dr. Krasny has numerous publications from his academic endeavors, particularly pancreatic spiral computed tomography in the evaluation of pancreatic malignancy.

Dr. Krasny remained at UCLA on staff as an Assistant Professor for one year, followed by four years in private practice in Valencia, California, performing all aspects of diagnostic and interventional radiology. This was followed by four years in private practice with Tower Imaging where he also performed all aspects of radiology including extensive abdominal, musculoskeletal, and neuroradiology experience.

Dr. Krasny's expertise spans nearly all of diagnostic radiology, but in particular abdominal, musculoskeletal, pulmonary, oncoradiology, and non-vascular interventions (utilizing modalities including XR, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine including FDG-PET). His current professional society memberships include the Radiologic Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Southern Medical Association.
